Our Governance Board is a group of elected parent, staff and associate governors and appointed associate governors. They bring a range of skills, perspectives and knowledge that shape the running of our school, working in partnership with Mrs Robertshaw and other leaders.
We are grateful for the knowledge and enthusiasm this group of volunteers provide as they oversee the strategic direction of our school. They monitor our performance, covering a range of areas such as teaching and learning, finance, staffing, and strategic direction and operations, for the benefit of all our learners.
Our Governance Board meets three times per year. Throughout the year, they work to engage with pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
Governor training is important, and regular training is provided for our governors so that they can offer robust support and challenge across their broad remit.
