La Visite de Bretteville l'Orgueilleuse
Years 5 and 6 today played hosts to a group of children visiting with their school from Bretteville l'Orgueilleuse, Basses Normandie, in France. After playground games we got to know each other with a game of Friendship Bingo - in both English and French of course! Before leaving for their lunch and a visit to Guernsey Museum, our visitors enjoyed the cakes we had made for them. We were also pleased to receive gifts of Bons-bons. Everyone agreed that it was a lovely cross-cultural opportunity to share with our neighbours.
